Expanding CT car wash company debuts new HQ

Splash Car Wash has opened a new 10,000-square-foot headquarters in Milford, more than tripling the size of its former office.

The office, at 472 Wheelers Farm Road, includes conference rooms, training space and employee amenities such as a nursing mothers’ room and children’s play area.

Connecticut-based Upscale Construction built out the space.

Splash, founded in 1981 in Greenwich, operates more than 60 car washes across Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts and Vermont. It has a significant presence in Fairfield County.

In April, Splash announced that Boston-based Palladin Consumer Retail Partners sold its majority stake in the company to New York-based AEA Investors Small Business Private Equity. At the same time, longtime chief operating officer Dan Patrelle was named CEO, succeeding co-founder Mark Curtis, who became chairman.
