Marshall Larsen, who was chairman and CEO of Goodrich Corp. until July when Hartford’s United Technologies Corp. acquired it for $16.5 billion, has taken his scheduled seat on UTC’s board.
Larsen joins 12 other board members, 11 of whom are independent.
Larsen, 64, joined Goodrich in 1977. He is a former chairman of the U.S. Aerospace Industries Association and also a former member of its board of governors.
He serves as a director of Lowe’s Companies Inc.; Becton, Dickinson and Co.; and the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.
Larsen holds a BS degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy and an MS degree from Purdue University.
