Marketing executive Eddie Hill, who at one time worked for ESPN and parent Walt Disney Co., on Monday joined World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. as senior vice president.
Hill will oversee strategy for WWE’s branding and promotions, television tune-in, pay-per-view events, network affiliate marketing, WWE Studios operations and market research. He reports to Michelle D. Wilson, marketing executive vice president.
Hill spent the last two years as a vice president at American Express Co. Â Previously, he was marketing vice president for cable channel Nickelodeon and Nick Movies. He has also held positions at ESPN and Disney.
Hill received his business degree from Georgetown University and his MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA.
