FuelCell Energy Inc. said Togo D. West Jr., a former secretary of the U.S. Army and Veterans Affairs in the Clinton administration, is among nine directors elected at the Danbury maker of energy-efficient power generators.
Shareholders elected West, now a Washington lawyer-adviser, and eight others to one-year terms as directors at the company’s March 25 annual meeting, the company said.
West, 67, was Army secretary from 1993 to 1997 and secretary of Veterans Affairs from 1998 to 2000.
Chairman and Chief Executive R. Daniel Brdar was re-elected to the board.
