The former Enfield combination headquarters, warehouse and store for defunct electronics-appliance retailer Bernie’s has sold for $5.2 million to a New York investor, brokers say.
Fields Realty LLC sold the 184,000-square-foot office/warehouse/store on 17 acres at 1559 King St., at Exit 46 on I-91, to The Baker Companies, of White Plains, N.Y., brokers said Wednesday.
The Baker Properties division owns and operates more than 3.5 million of warehouse and flex space in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
O,R & L Commercial brokered the sale.
Bankrupt Bernie’s shut its doors in early 2010.
