🔒Eversource gives out free lamps to UConn freshmen

For the fourth consecutive year, Eversource partnered with the University of Connecticut to provide 3,800 free LED desk lamps to incoming freshmen and undergraduate students. The bulbs in the new LED desk lamps use up to 90 percent less electricity, produce five times less carbon dioxide and last up to 25 times longer than incandescent light bulbs.
