Ethan Allen Interiors Inc. posted slightly higher fourth-quarter sales and profits to close out a strong fiscal year for the Danbury home furnishings maker-retailer.
For three months ended June 30, Ethan Allen netted $7.3 million, or 25 cents a diluted share, vs. $7.2 million, 25 cents a share, netted the same quarter last year.
Fourth-quarter sales rose 4 percent to $185.3 million vs. $178 million a year ago.
For fiscal 2012, the company netted $49.7 million, or $1.71 a share, up from $29.3 million, or $1.01 a share, earned in fiscal 2011.
