Two of Connecticut’s top government commissioners, Dan Esty and James Redeker, will lead the state inaugural electric vehicle expo Tuesday at Middlesex Community College.
Esty, commissioner of the Department of Energy & Environmental Protection, and Redeker, commissioner of the Department of Transportation, are hosting the event to help businesses and residents understand electric vehicles and their role in the modern marketplace.
The event will look at the newest electric vehicles, compare the different charging stations, and discuss the state’s plan to expand the number of charging stations.
The expo will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Middlesex Community College in Middletown. The event is open to the public.
