Throughout 2026, Essex Bank has been celebrating its 175th anniversary. For the past 30 years, the Bank has donated over $6 million via our Community Investment Program, which annually provides up to 10% of our after-tax net profits to worthy organizations in our area. In honor of our 175th, each month during 2026, Essex Bank is providing pop-up grants in the amount of $1,875 to non-profits in the categories of aging, youth, culture, and housing. An additional $1,875 was given out to a deserving charity on the anniversary date of the Bank opening its doors–August 6th. We are showing gratitude to our customers during the month of August with giveaways and sweepstakes. The Bank offers a full spectrum of products and services along with a full-service Trust department and a wholly-owned financial advisory subsidiary, Essex Financial Services.
