Bristol sports-entertainment giant ESPN said its mobile apps, web streaming video, and other digital media products amassed just shy of 10 billion visitors in 2014, which is a sports category record, according to analytics provider comScore.
Those 9.97 billion visits beat out the combined total of second and third-ranked networks, Yahoo Sports-NBC Sports Network and Bleacher Report-Turner Sports Network, which together had 8.75 billion visits.
ESPN averaged 18.4 million unique users per day and 76.8 million per month during the year.
