Allied Community Services, an Enfield company that provides services and support to people with disabilities, has promoted Carol Bohnet to CEO.
She succeeds Dean Wern, who retired in 2011.
Bohnet joined Allied in 1994 and worked her way up to chief operating officer in Nov. 2012.
She will oversee more than 200 staff members who work at offices and group homes in Enfield, East Windsor and South Windsor.
