Employees Pay Tribute to Workers

Department of Labor employees paid tribute to the workers of Connecticut — honoring the work forces of the past present and future — during the agency’s annual Workers’ Memorial ceremony. Deputy Commissioner Linda Agnew, assisted by representatives from the various unions representing DOL employees, led the event. The tribute was held at the Workers’ Memorial. The large granite stone located in front of the agency’s Central Office in Wethersfield is surrounded with benches for those who might want to take a moment to reflect upon the efforts and contributions of the state’s work force.
