Canadian energy company Emera Inc. said it’s completed its acquisition of a 520-megawatt power plant in Bridgeport from Capital Power Corp.
The purchase of Bridgeport Energy is part of a larger buy of three New England facilities totaling $541 million. The others are in Maine and Rhode Island.
The deal was first announced in August.
