EMCOR unit lands forest service contract

Norwalk-based EMCOR Group Inc. said today that its Kilgust Mechanical subsidiary has received a contract to install mechanical systems for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service in Madison, Wis.

Kilgust’s work is part of the second phase of development of a new multiuse laboratory for the USDA Forest Products Lab, located adjacent to the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. The dollar value of the contract was not disclosed.

Kilgust will install four air-handling units, a large fume collection exhaust fan with custom hoods and enclosures, dedicated wood dust collection system, and an extension of the building fume hood collection system.

Kilgust will also be responsible for full building recommissioning of all mechanical systems, as well as the integration of the building management system.
