Westfield Trumbull Mall has contracted a division of Norwalk contracting giant Emcor Group Inc. to install new air conditioning equipment for the regional shopping center.
Tucker Mechanical in Meriden received an unspecified contract to replace the Trumbull shopping center’s 18 rooftop direct expansion coolers with a chilled-water system.
The new system will require installation of a three centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, pumps and related equipment, along with about 12,000 feet of piping, Emcor says.
Australia-based Westfield Group also counts the Westfield Meriden mall among its 119 shopping centers in the U.S., United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.
