Norwalk construction services giant Emcor Group said it has completed its $455-million cash acquisition of privately held RepconStrickland Inc.
The Texas-based industrial and refinery services company brought in approximately $400 million in revenue last year.
Emcor said the combination of RepconStrickland and its existing Ohmstede operations provides it with additional access to high-margin, high-growth industrial markets.
Last week, Emcor reported lower Q2 profits of $21 million, down from $33.4 million, on mostly flat revenue.
