Norwalk industrial construction colossus Emcor Group Inc. said Tuesday that Frank T. MacInnis will retire as chairman and CEO in January, and will be succeeded by President and Chief Operating Officer Anthony J. Guzzi, The Associated Press reports.
MacInnis, 63, will remain on the board as non-executive chairman. He has been Emcor’s chairman and CEO for the last 16 years.
Guzzi, 46, has been with the company in his current roles since 2004 and joined the board of directors in December. He will remain president of the company.
