Norwalk industrial construction company Emcor Group Inc. says it has deepened its green footprint by acquiring Scalise Industries for an undisclosed amount.
Scalise, based in Lawrence, Pa., provides engineering and facilities maintenance services. The company had revenues of about $70 million last year, Emcor said in a release.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Emcor CEO Anthony J. Guzzi said in the release that the companies will gain from their combined expertise in green technology, at a time when the industry is increasingly moving toward sustainable construction and practices.
