Law firm Carlton Fields has hired Makana A. Ellis as an associate in its Hartford office.
She represents clients in mass tort and product liability matters, including pharmaceutical, medical device, toxic tort and healthcare litigation. Additionally, Ellis will assist with construction litigation and transactional matters across the Northeast.
Ellis has courtroom experience representing corporations, towns and individuals in litigation. She previously worked as a public defender in Bridgeport and served as a clerk at the New Haven Superior court.
