A 62-year-old, 16,000-square-foot industrial building in West Hartford sold for $1.2 million in December.
Joseph Murphy sold the 1.1-acre property, with the industrial building, at 30 Shield Street to Rohan Sky LLC, which registered with the state on Oct. 18.
Rohan Sky’s members include Ali Saleh Esa, Naif Nagi Hassan, Mohammad Tanash Suleiman and Mohamed H. Isa, all of whom live in the Autumn Chase Apartments complex in Ellington, according to their state filing.
Esa, who is also the agent for the group, said Thursday Rohan Sky is an investment vehicle of friends looking for business opportunities following a move to Connecticut from New York. Esa said they were attracted to the building because it is in a good location in a solid community.
The friends haven’t yet decided what to do with the property, however, Esa said. It is a decision he expects will come within weeks.
