Electro Energy wins $730K army contract

Danbury-based Electro Energy Inc., a provider of battery technologies, was awarded a contract from the U.S. Army to continue development of thermal batteries used in military applications.

The U.S. Army awarded Electro Energy an SBIR phase-two contract for low cost improved thermal batteries. The two-year contract value is $730,000 and will be incrementally funded for FY08 and FY09 respectively.
