Wallingford fresh fruit franchisor Edible Arrangements said it has secured its first college franchisee and will later this year open a store at Fort Bragg in North Carolina.
The Fort Bragg store, scheduled to open in November, will be EA’s first on a military base.
The company also recently opened a store at Oakwood University in Alabama, which is the first college to own a fresh fruit franchise.
“We anticipate this will be the first of many openings designed to bring Edible Arrangements products directly to the armed forces community throughout the country and the world,” Tariq Farid, Edible Arrangements CEO, said in a statement.
