Edac buys N.H. grinder maker

Farmington manufacturer Edac Technologies Corp. said it paid $300,000 for a New Hampshire maker of grinding equipment to complement a similar purchase eight months ago.

Edac, whose primary business is producing precisely engineered aerospace components, bought Accura Technics LLC of Keene, N.H.

Accura’s specialty is producing computer numerical control grinding systems that churn out parts machined to fine tolerances.

Last August, Edac acquired the assets of Service Network Inc., a bankrupt Worcester, Mass., maker of precision grinders and other components
