What are the family values of your business, and how do they help you remain competitive in the market?
Our family values are integrity, respect, accountability, compassion, and customer centricity, which contribute to employee longevity, experience, and knowledge. We offer expert thinking to our customers, and the training our staff receives is not lost in turnover; so that it can be translated to service and training for our customers.
What would your founder say about the state of your company today and its achievements in the last year?
Our founder would be astonished we are selling so many products and services from our core offerings in 1918 of bags and paper. Sam and Sayde Baum would not believe we sell high-value, ride-on floor machines. They would really be surprised we service customers from Maine to Virginia from three facilities.
What is the biggest challenge to your business in the coming year?
Our biggest challenge is finding, training, and inspiring high quality entrepreneurial teammates to work in our company as we move into the fourth generation of leadership.
