East Hartford-based NEFCO, a supplier of construction materials with a nationwide network, has expanded its presence in West Texas with two new branch openings.
The new locations are in El Paso and Lubbock, and bring NEFCO’s footprint in the state to nine facilities.
The El Paso site includes 26,000 square feet of office and warehouse space. In Lubbock, NEFCO will have a facility of more than 12,000 square feet.
"These locations further strengthen our ability to provide faster delivery, and localized support backed by our nationwide footprint,” said President and CEO Matthew Gelles.
NEFCO says its clients include commercial construction, infrastructure, industrial manufacturing, data centers, healthcare, education and water and wastewater facilities.
The company now has more than 75 locations nationwide, which it has amassed through a combination of acquisitions and organic growth.
The family-operated company has been backed by private equity funding since 2022. It changed hands earlier this year as
former owner Bertram Capital sold NEFCO to Leonard Green & Partners in January.
