The deal for the Dallas company is NEFCO’s fifth location in the Lone Star state, and a further step in its nationwide growth strategy.
East Hartford-based NEFCO, a construction supplies company, has acquired Texas-based Big D Tool Center.
The acquisition of the Dallas company represents NEFCO’s fifth location in the Lone Star state, and is a further step in its nationwide growth strategy.
With this deal, NEFCO now operates nearly 70 locations nationwide.
The company provides localized services to contractors including tool inventories, jobsite delivery, engineering services, and specialty fabrication and assembly of construction materials.
NEFCO says Big D Tool’s Dallas operation will continue business as usual, while offering access to the wider company’s core competencies, product catalog and services.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
In September, the company announced the opening of a new branch in North Charleston, South Carolina, providing a foothold to the brand throughout the Southeast region.
