An 8.7-acre collection of East Hartford properties hosting building materials supplier National Building Products recently sold for $2.5 million.
In a deal recorded Sept. 1, P&Z Ellington Road Realty LLC — a Florida-registered entity with an office in Avon — sold the properties at the busy corner of Burnham Street and Ellington Road (Route 5) to Bell-25 Spring Lane LLC. The buyer is registered to a post office box in South Glastonbury, according to state records.
The principal of the buying LLC is Glastonbury-based Hollister & Moore LLC, according to state business records. The principal of Hollister & Moore LLC is Bradford Wainman, of Glastonbury.
Attempts to reach Wainman and the principal of the selling LLC — Eliott Zieky of Avon — were not successful. Attempts to reach a representative from National Building Products were also not immediately successful.
In his linkedin page, Wainman describes Hollister & Moore as a private investment company specializing in the acquisition of commercial real estate, commercial real estate debt and related assets.
The sale included:
- 1.3-acres of vacant land at 405 Ellington Road and 149 Burnham St.
- A Cape-style home used as an office on a 0.6-acre plot at 157 Burnham St.
- A one-tenth acre plot with a 2,340-square-foot storage building at 167 Burnham St.
- And a 6.8-acre plot of industrially zoned land at 367 Ellington Road with a 9,710-square-foot retail building; a 7,000-square-foot storage building; an 18,887-square-foot storage building, 32,400-square-foot storage building and 7,050-square-foot storage building. Â Most of these buildings were erected in the 1960s. One dates to 2011.
