East Hartford industrial building sells for $1.7M

A 19,500-square-foot industrial building on nearly 15 acres of land just off Interstate 84 in East Hartford recently sold for $1.7 million.

The East Hartford Equipment Corp. sold its property at 101 Brookside Lane to 101 Brookside Lane Industrial LLC, in a $1.7 million deal recorded by the town on June 7.

East Hartford assessing records show an industrial storage building dating back to 1984 on the property.

East Hartford Equipment Corp., established in 1954, is a commercial and industrial equipment supplier. Its principals are Michael Wisneski, of East Hartford; Alex J. Sawka, of South Windsor; and Mary Ellen Wisneski, of East Hartford. Attempts to reach a company representative were not immediately successful Thursday morning.

The buyer, 101 Brookside Lane Industrial LLC, shares an Astoria, New York address with real estate investor Criterion Group. Attempts to reach a representative were not immediately successful Thursday morning.
