A two-story commercial building in East Hartford sold for $550,000 in November, according to brokerage officials.
The 11,970-square-foot property at 400 Connecticut Blvd. was sold by Soundview Health Partners LLC to Newark Deal LLC, a New Jersey-based limited liability company.
The buying LLC is controlled by Shkelzen Malaj, who lists his business address as 400 Connecticut Blvd.
The buyer purchased the building as an investment and plans to lease the upper floor, while the ground floor is currently leased to Harley-Davidson for overflow storage related to its adjacent facility, according to O,R&L Commercial, which bordered the deal.
The building last traded in hands in June 2022 for $550,000. It is appraised by the town at $509,570, property records show.
Mark Berkowitz and Frank Hird of O,R&L represented the seller, and the firm served as the sole broker on the transaction.
