Earnings edge up at Simsbury B&T

SBT Bancorp Inc., the holding company for Simsbury Bank & Trust Co., reported second quarter net income of $215,000, a small increase from the $199,000 in profits the bank posted in the year ago quarter. Income per diluted share grew to 25 cents, up from 23 cents. Total revenues were $2.3 million, up from $2.2 million a year ago. The bank’s total assets stood at $210 million.
