East Windsor document-storage provider InfoShred says it is up and running Friday, following a partial roof collapse overnight at its facility.
President Stacey DiPiazza says the roof collapsed around midnight above the records’ storage portion of the building at 3 Craftsman Road. No injuries were reported.
DiPiazza said clients’ records and files were undamaged and are under armed 24-hour guard, pending arrangements to move them to a more secure facility.
The document-destruction part of the business was unaffected and it continues to service customers as usual, he said.
“We notified all of our clients yesterday when it became clear that the records’ storage portion of the building was threatened by the build-up of ice and snow,” DiPiazza said in a statement. “They have been tremendously supportive.”
He said delivery trucks went out this morning on their regular schedule and the business expects no interruption in these services.
