East Windsor manufacturing tool maker Koma Precision is providing its products to the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology so regional manufacturers can increase their productivity, CCAT announced.
Koma will provide one of its rotary tables to use at CCAT’s Advanced Manufacturing Center in East Hartford, where manufacturers from around the region can better their production methods.
The Advanced Manufacturing Center primarily serves small to mid-sized manufacturers. The center also is developing processes to support repair of aerospace components.
Koma has installed more than 30,000 rotary tables worldwide and has 12,000 other tools in operation.
