East Windsor’s Specialty Printing has spun off its packaging-distribution into a separate unit it estimates will generate about $16 million in revenue its first year.
Founded in 1978, Specialty Printing recently formed a new venture with D. McLeod Packaging of East Longmeadow. The new venture is called Specialty Packaging.
Specialty Packaging recently moved into a 50,000-square-foot East Windsor office-warehouse at 4 Revay Road in the East Windsor Industrial Park, housing eight to 10 workers transferred from D. McLeod’s East Longmeadow, Mass., operation, officials said.
The company also has distribution centers in California, Florida, Georgia and Ohio.
Specialty Packaging’s co-owners are Christopher L. Orsini of Middlebury, Keith Streib of Ellington, and Donald D. McLeod, of Longmeadow.
William Bailey remains president and CEO of Specialty Printing.
