E. Hartford fuel cell cluster hosting exchange

The Northeast Electrochemical Energy Storage Cluster of East Hartford will host a supply chain exchange for the hydrogen and fuel cell industries of New England and New York on July 20 in Westboro, Mass.

The exchange gives potential supply chain companies the opportunity to connect with Connecticut original equipment manufacturers such as UTC Power of South Windsor, Proton Onsite of Wallingford and FuelCell Energy in Danbury.

The event is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy and put on with organizations such as the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology and the Clean Energy States Alliance.

“This is a terrific business opportunity for supply chain companies in the region to meet with OEMs, state funders, and government program managers,” said Joel Rinebold, director of energy initiatives at CCAT, in a press release.
