Danbury’s Ross Solar said it has completed its installation of nearly 1,300 solar panels at two East Hartford dealerships owned by Ross Motor Cars.
Gengras first announced the project in December.
Gengras Chevrolet and Gengras Volvo are located less than half a mile from each other on opposite sides of Connecticut Boulevard (Route 44).
Ross said that the SunPower arrays, totaling 419 kilowatts, will generate more than 400,000 kilowatt hours of electricity per year.

The project received incentives from the state’s Zero Emissions Renewable Energy Credit Program.
