The former deputy commissioner of the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection will serve as chair of the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority’s board of commissioners.
PURA said its commissioners voted Oct. 31 to appoint Katie Dykes as chair of the three-seat board.
Gov. Dannel Malloy announced last week that Dykes would become one of three PURA commissioners, filling a vacancy left by Arthur House, who accepted a position as the state’s chief cybersecurity risk officer.
House had also been PURA chair.
