Katherine Dykes and John W. Betkoski III will continue in their role as commissioners of the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority, following a vote late last week.
Gov. Dannel Malloy appointed Dykes, formerly deputy commissioner at the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, as a PURA commissioner in October. She was elected PURA chair soon after.
Betkoski, a former state legislator, has been a PURA commissioner for 20 years. He has served as vice chair for the past decade.
State law requires PURA’s three commissioners to elect their chair and vice chair annually.

The third seat on the commission is held by Michael A. Caron.
