Dutch Point Credit Union takes part in youth employment skills program

Dutch Point Credit Union recently participated in the Wethersfield Youth Employment Skills (YES) program, which is offered by the Wethersfield Department of Social and Youth Services and is funded, in part, by a grant from the State Department of Education. The program works with up to 12 Wethersfield High School students every summer and is designed to help them find and keep a job. The focus is on skill building including writing a resume and cover letter; writing and measuring specific goals; practicing communication and interviewing skills; basic banking education; and learning about customer service and workplace ethics.
