Dunkin’ Park, home of the Hartford Yard Goats, has won the 2025 Newsweek Fans’ Choice Awards contest for the best Double-A ballpark.
The Yard Goats, a Double-A minor league affiliate of Major League Baseball’s Colorado Rockies, were informed Wednesday of the award, which marks its 10th anniversary this year.
While this is the first time Dunkin’ Park has won the Newsweek Fans’ Choice Award, the ballpark, which opened in April 2017 and seats just over 6,100 fans, has previously been recognized as the best Double-A ballpark four times by Ballpark Digest — in 2017, 2018, 2021 and 2022. It was the first minor league ballpark to win that award three times.
Yard Goats President Tim Restall said the team is excited to win the Newsweek award and thanked the fans who voted.
Dunkin’ Park hosts 69 Yard Goats’ home games during the season, as well as several outside events.
The Yard Goats complete their current homestand Thursday at 6:10 p.m. against the New York Mets affiliate, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, before embarking on a 10-day road trip.
