Hartford resident Robert Duffy has been named senior vice president of human resources and administration at Harris Corp., an international communications and information technology company based in Melbourne, Fla. In his new position, Duffy will plan and implement Harris’ human resources and administrative organizations’ strategies globally. He joined Harris in 2005 from United Technologies Corp. where he worked in domestic and international leadership positions. Duffy holds a bachelor’s degree in human resource management from Muhlenberg College and a master’s degree in management and technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
