Mission: The mission of Dress for Success is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career-development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
Background: Dress for Success Hartford began in 1998 and has served more than 2,850 women. We currently offer the following programs to women in need: suiting program, professional women’s group and the success coaching/mentoring program. Through our fundraisers, grant and foundation support, we are able to provide these services to the women in the Greater Hartford area.
Major Fundraiser: 5th Annual Capital Catwalk on May 3, 2010 at the Hartford Stage.
