Dream Ride 2012 raises awareness, funds for Special Olympics

A record-breaking number of riders from two countries, eight states and 27 start locations participated in this year’s Dream Ride 2012 event, raising awareness and funds for Special Olympics. At the closing ceremonies, about 100 Special Olympians were inducted into the Hall of Fame and Michael Bozzuto, CEO of Bozzuto’s Inc., a family-owned, wholesale food distribution company headquartered in Cheshire, presented a check to the Special Olympics for $310,000.
