Downtown Hartford’s DoNo Cafe, part of The Pennant, sets grand opening date

DoNo Cafe, the first retail shop to open in downtown Hartford’s new North Crossing development, is set for a grand opening at 9 a.m. Jan. 26.

The cafe is located at street level in The Pennant apartment building at 1212 Main St. Its doors are across from Dunkin’ Park’s ticketing window.

DoNo Cafe sports an ornate interior design and offers a variety of coffees, teas, lattes, hot chocolate, smoothies, pastries and sandwiches.  New specialty items are added each week.

Hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday; 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday; and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday. Hours may change during Dunkin’ Park events.

The cafe is owned by Jill Interlandi, a Danbury native.

The Pennant, which has about 270 units, is the first phase of the North Crossing project, which is being developed by RMS Cos. of Stamford.
