A downtown Hartford office building near the Connecticut Convention Center has been put up for sale with a $1.6 million asking price.
The Class A office building at 50 Columbus Blvd. contains approximately 25,000 square feet and sits on a 1-acre site, according to marketing materials from Colliers, which is listing the property for sale.
The property is owned by Hartford-based Visual Technologies Inc., an information technology and software services company that is also headquartered in the building.
Built in 1985, the riverfront property has access to interstates 84 and 91 and Route 2 and is one block from the Connecticut Convention Center and Front Street Entertainment District, marketing materials state.
About 9,500 square feet is available for lease, including approximately 4,750 square feet on each of the fourth and fifth floors. The property has a parking ratio of four spaces per 1,000 square feet, according to the marketing materials.
The building last traded hands in 2007 for $1.6 million, the same as its current asking price.
Colliers’ Nicholas Morizio is marketing the property for sale.
