A specialty donut shop opened its fifth location Wednesday in West Hartford Center. Â
Donut Crazy says its 900-square-foot shop at the corner of Farmington Avenue and Raymond Road sells 45 donuts, avocado toast, breakfast sandwiches, smoothies and beverages at 993 Farmington Ave. The eatery, which has locations in New Haven, Westport, Shelton and Stratford, is rolling out its newly revamped brand for the West Hartford site.
Owned and operated by Glastonbury residents Irene and Cesar Luaices, the shop will hire 10 to 12 workers.
The West Hartford site is Donut Crazy’s second franchised location in addition to the Westport store.

Donut Crazy said it plans to continue expanding in Connecticut and across state lines.
