Donation to East Hartford Homeless Shelter

For the second consecutive year, partners and employees of BlumShapiro decided to forego the company’s annual holiday party and donate to charities across the state. East Hartford Community Shelter’s Program Coordinator Sandra Terry and Housing Services Program Director Mercedes Soto, second and third from right, received a check for $2,500 from Carl Johnson, far right, managing partner of BlumShapiro, and Tom DeVitto, far left, chief marketing officer of BlumShapiro. The East Hartford Homeless Shelter is a 40-bed shelter that provides a safe haven for families with children and single men. Clients receive overnight housing, meals, and case management services.
