The city’s second DominGO! Hartford festival, which marks the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month, is set for this weekend in the Frog Hollow neighborhood.
DominGO! will be held on Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Park Street, spanning from Pope Park to Main Street. There will be fitness activities, restaurant deals and entertainment at El Mercado, Park Street Library and BiCi Co., including bands, DJs and dance performances and classes.
As part of DominGO!, on three different Sundays this summer and fall, the city transforms 3 to 5 miles of streets into public spaces by closing them to vehicles.
In June, the city held DominGO! in the North East neighborhood. On Oct. 1, the third event of the year will be held in Parkville.
