A Dollar General location tucked into the edge of a neighborhood to the rear of Waterbury’s Brass Mill Center mall recently sold for $1.75 million to New York investors.
In a deed recorded Jan. 2, a limited liability company headed by Paul Sub, of Manhattan, sold the 7,428-square-foot retail building on 1.1 acres at 40 Cherry St. to another LLC headed by Martha Grunberger and Naftali Grunberger, of Brooklyn.
The metal-sided retail building hosting Dollar General was completed in 2018. Sub paid $1.79 for the property the following year, according to city records.
The sale was brokered by Daniel R. de Sa’, of New York-based HMX realty advisors.Â
