Distributor leases space in Wallingford

A global industrial distributor of pipe, valves and fittings is moving into a 34,600-square-foot space in Wallingford.

MRC Global Inc., which is headquartered in Houston, Texas, will be leasing industrial and office space at 15 Sterling Dr.

The company plans to use the location to expand its interior and exterior storage capabilities. 

Sentry Commercial represented the landlord, while Levey Miller Maretz of Woodbridge represented the tenant in the transaction. 

Sentry has been advertising the 22-acre industrial location as having 173,015 square feet available for lease at a rate of $6.50 per square foot per year.

MRC Global distributes its products and services to the energy industry, and it employs roughly 3,150 employees at 250 service locations around the globe.
