Shelton electricity provider Discount Power is offering a free energy audit to its business customers.
Emendee Technologies of Southington will provide the audits. They include lighting assessments, and evaluations of HVAC systems, refrigeration, and air temperature control units.
The usual cost of the assessment is $500.
Founded in 2008, Discount Power provides electricity to business and residential customers who choose to use someone other than their electric utility to provide the power generation portion of their bill.
